So all of you know I like books and reading right? +reader nods+ And, that my 2 favorites are Fablehaven and Harry Potter? Well, I have 2 new favorites to add to the list. One of them is:

OUT OF MY MIND By: Sharon M. Draper

Out of My Mind. It is about a girl with cerebral palsy. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a disease that you are born with, your mind works, but your body doesn't. You can think and breath and your heart beats, but you can't move or speak. Well this girl, named Melody has a photographic memory, but can't let all her knowledge out. (Can you imagine how frustrated you'd be?) Well, she goes to school and joins a quiz team. The most unimaginable thing happens.

Half Brother. An family with one child named Ben adopts an 8 day old chimpanzee for a project looking to see if chimpanzees are capable of language. They can't speak, but the project is trying sign language. This book goes through Ben's life with the chimp, Zan and then the most horrible fate that will come to Zan and what they do to stop it.

Both of these book are amazing. I loved them, and I hope you go out and buy it or borrow it from the library or a friend. YOU REALLY NEED TO READY THIS BOOK!

Yummy Pierogi!

I'm about to go see the Nutcracker by my ballet company. I bet it'll be great! But first, I need to get my eyebrows done and wait for my mom's hair appointment to be over. Agh...

Anyway, I'm going to eat these excellent things called pierogi. They are little dumplings filled with potatoes and often cheese. My daddy is making them and they are going to be ABSOLUTELY FANTABULOUS. Hee!

As many of you know, the most tragic thing happened, +sob+ BUZZ DIED! It's gone. Forever. No longer existing. ALL BECAUSE OF GOOGLE + Stupid Google +

I also have some more sad news. My grandmother's dog died today. She was very old and sick. I am very upset. She was an amazing dog. So sweet. I've known her forever.  She even let my use her as a pillow when I was 5 years old. You will always live in my heart, Meggie.

COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS! Well, my Christmas Trip Countdown.

Seasons Eatings, darlings! Yup, it's that time of year again! The time of snow, Christmas lights, warmth, and happiness.

You're probably wondering, "It's not Season's Eatings! It's Season's Greetings!" (Yeah, I got it form Food Network) Well, it's Seasons Eatings for me! You all should know I love food!

Anyway, I'm done with the short paragraphs. Now, onto the most important note of this blog. CHRISTMAS TIME! I absolutely LOVE Christmas. I think it is my favorite holiday besides Halloween and my birthday. At Christmas, I always go to my Grandma's house for vacation. On Christmas Eve, however, I go to my grandpa's house and celebrate a Christmas celebration. We open presents, eat FUD (Food, for those of you who don't know the inside joke), spend time with family, it's just so great!

Now, for the epicness! I come home from Christmas Eve and go to bed. I wake up in the morning and run to the fireplace, where my stocking hangs, and I look at the presents. Then, my whole family (including the extended family) comes over and has brunch! We open the presents that are under the tree, and it's just THE best thing ever.

My grandmother decorates her trees every year with a theme. This year, she chose a PIG theme for my 3 year old cousin, who's favorite animal is a PIG. I made SPECIAL pig ornaments for her. I love my cousin!

So, you see why I'm having a countdown? Well, guess what?!?! ONLY 1 DAY LEFT UNTIL I LEAVE!!!

If you read Sparkly Domo 'Thanksgiving Eve' post, you know that now, Thanksgiving and after, is a time of sickeningly sweet people. Which, includes me. :D Sorry for all of you who know me...

Anyway, as I hope all of you know, Christmas comes after Thanksgiving. AND, did you know that from Thanksgiving to New Years Eve is a time where people put on a LOT of weight? Well, anyway. I shall be doing something EXTREMELY special for Christmas. Well, it happens all the time, but I'm going to L.A. for Christmas to see my grandma and family. I don't know why I didn't categorize 'Grandma' as family...

I'm super-dee-duper excited 'cuz there is something I REALLY,  REALLY WANT!!! It is called the iPod Nano. You know! The one with the touch screen?!?! AND all of you who don't have this, will probably want this, like me, a CELL PHONE. My parents keep telling me, "Not gonna happen." But, I think it's going to happen!!! HEE HEE!

You already can tell I am excited. Agh, I'm jumping ahead of myself. I forgot to talk about what I'm doing for Thanksgiving. I'm going to Washington D.C. area and visiting some friends. We're going to have LOADS of fun. Considering I haven't seen them in, I don't know, 3 months!

I'm getting REALLY REALLY hyper!!! YEAH! PARTAY!

Theme Culmination. AGH! Stressful...

'Kay guys! Hey, so tomorrow is Theme Culmination at our school. WHAT?! You don't know what that is? Well, poop you. Just kidding. Every trimester, we have a different theme. This trimester's theme is about the Civil War.

Tomorrow, we're going to do multiple presentations to show what we've learned in a creative way. I have to do a debate on State and Federal Rights. (I know some people who are reading this are getting bored, so I'll hurry up) Then, we go marching around like soldiers.

Oh, forgot to tell you, I'M OPENING IT. I'm introducing the whole thing with a partner. It's a script. I'm so nervous...

Hello Random People I don't know!

I AM MISSING THE TONY AND TECHIES AGAIN. I missed it last year because of a show I was in, White Christmas, and this year, I MOVED. GRA.

Ahh yes. Halloween. At last. The day, ahem, night where strangers give you candy! I <3 Halloween. I'm going as the Kandy Corn Witch. I'm going with my friend, Maria and Nicole. It's going to be CrAzY. Afterwards, Maria and I will be making cheese pies for our Greece Project. (YES CARDEN STUDENTS, another country report. Lucky Me.) My Mom just randomly said, "doodle." How awkward. 


My dog is cone-head. My dog, Vixen scratched a sore on her face, and to prevent her from scratching and irritating it more, we put a cone on her. So, it's really awkward when she tries to get under the covers... Well, I'm tired and wearing fuzzy pajamas. Well, I'm not tired because today is HALLOWEEN! I have some questions for CARDEN students. Well, actually one: Did Mrs. Gardner decorate her room this year again? Was it as great as 3rd grade? I guess that's two questions.

Okay guys. If you've been reading some new comments, you noticed that me and "Ice Cream" have been talking about something with hair. Well, head lice is going around at our school. I haven't gotten it and neither has "Ice Cream." So, just to inform you, that's what we've been talking about.

Yesterday my Mom went to the store and bought C-A-N-D-Y! CANDY! I had a Tootsie Pop yesterday. >_<  Did you know that they have new flavors!! They have originals like Orange, Cherry, Chocolate, and Grape, but they also have Raspberry and Green Apple. But you have to be quick! There's only one Green Apple in each.

RAIN!

Today at 2 PM, I shall be watching the show at the Hippodrome Theater, RAIN, a Tribute to the Beatles. It was my Mom's birthday present, but my whole FAMILIA is GOING. WOO!

I am UBERly excited. First I got Root Beer. Then later I get to go to a show?!?! THE MOST AWESOME DAY EVER!

Just got back from Ballet class. I personally think that 9 AM is too early to dance... But, my Dad took me to A&W afterwards! YURMMY ROOT BEER! I <3 Root Beer. It is THE best drink EVER.

So, in Ballet Class, our teacher, Mr. Tim is AWESOME. But, today he made us do Pilates and run around the studio...awkward. I just can't think about how else I'd like to start the day! Some planks, push-ups, abdominal exercises. (JUST KIDDING. ONLY A FREAK WOULD WANT TO START THE DAY THAT WAY) So, now my abs are aching from all the exercises. Wouldn't you at 9 AM?!?!

Big Opportunity

So, I just came home from my piano lesson. (Brigitte, I know you're going to yell at me for this, but I still haven't tuned my piano.)

My teacher asked me if I could be in the orchestra pit for her production of a play called Alice. SHE WANTS ME TO PLAY PIANO IN A MUSICAL.

This is big! It means that I'm actually quite advanced. (Who knew?) I mean, to play in an orchestra with other people playing different instruments? I'M 12 YEARS OLD PEOPLE. (Almost 13. Can you believe it Brigitte?) I'm waaaay too young to play with a fully professional adult musicians. WOW. I'm amazed and really happy!
