Guys, dudes, gals, WHATEVER. You guys probably thought I abandoned you. Well, NOT TRUE. +I'm here! I say in a creepy voice+ Yes, so I guess I owe you guys an apology.
I'M SORRY.
Guess you guys wanna know what's going on in ma life. Well here we go. Be prepared for a long blog.
As I said before, my school has a theme each trimester and now we're on BALTIMORE. (I know, ironic right?) So, the 6th and 7th graders (no 8th because they are in Costa Rica. I'll explain later.) have been going to places in the city and taking pics for a project we're gonna do. (UGH. HATE PROJECTS. I'll explain that also later.) SO, we've been walking around ALMOST EVERYDAY FOR HOURS. I mean, I'm not complaining, because we get out of 3 classes, sometimes more. (I miss mostly my afternoon classes!) So, that's one thing that's keeping me busy.
So, I need to explain COSTA RICA. Kay. So, every year, the 8th graders go on their "International Trip." This year they went to Costa Rica. They just got back yesterday. They went for 10 days. NEXT YEAR I'M GOING TO COSTA RICA TOO!!!!!!!
Now onto Projects. You'll get SO depressed listening to this. Like every two weeks, I get a new project. Like the last one I did was: a paper on the pianist Eubie Blake. BUT, that's not all. I had to write a paper, create a poster, and make an oral presentation that was memorized. I could only have 20 words on a note card. THAT WAS DUE IN 2 WEEKS. Now, I have a 3 week project where I have to put together a real estate guide. I have to take pictures of my area and write a little bit about each one. That doesn't sound that bad, but THER ARE REQUIREMENTS AND RESTRICTIONS AND GUIDLINES. ACK! AND, I have to do it over Spring Break. Bleh. So, basically projects have been keeping me busy.
Yet another thing is, I'M IN A SHOW!!!!! Yes, I know. IT'S ABOUT TIME! Yes, I'm in the show, "Into the Woods." I play the character: Little Red Riding Hood! YAY!!! So, what's keeping me busy is the music and lines. I need to memorize them by tomorrow. YIKES.
Anyway. That's all my excuses for today!
LOVE,
Lillian
